Usage
1、 Dip the coating material with degreased cotton and apply the coating on the ground
edge evenly. Application can also be done by spraying. It’s better to let the optics
rotate uniformly during application.
2、On condition that the edge becomes black, the coating should not be too thick.
3、If thin and uniform coating is required, it is recommended to apply the coating by
spraying.
4、To ensure the firmness of the coating, clean and degrease the surface to be applied
with mixture of ether and ethanol before application.
5、If the coating is too sticky, it can be thinned to required adhesiveness with X-1
nitrodope thinner.
6、Put the applied parts in the oven and bake the parts at 80℃ for 2 hours for hardening.
7、The black coating, formed after volatilization of coating thinner, can be removed at the
very beginning with solvent, such as banana oil, acetone, mixture of ether and ethanol.
With the time goes on, the adhesion of the coating becomes strong, it is very difficult
to remove it. Therefore, if the non- coated surface is contaminated by mistake, remove
it within 8 hours.
8、The coating should be airtight and stored in a well-ventilated and dry place. The period
of validity is 6 months. It the coating is not used for a long time, mix it evenly before
application. If it is possible, filter the coating with copper wire cloth in order to remove
deposit.
