Test condition for cutting ability: Fine grinding, W10 pellet, coverage ratio of pellet 40%, pressure 3 – 4 kgf/cm2, diameter 50mm, K9 glass.
The lifetime of cutting ability is one of the important datum of the cutting ability of the coolant. After grinding 6000 surfaces with JM – 2005 coolant, the test shows that cutting ability is not lower than 0.08mm under normally condition. The smaller the diameter is, the longer the lifetime will be.
Under normal condition, the cutting ability of JM-2005 is stable in relation to the special work-piece and technological parameter of the processing. If the cutting ability (central thickness removal) is lower than 40% of normal value, make sure that the following parameters are normal or abnormal:
1、Make sure that the work-piece meets the requirement of surface form of processing
2、Make sure that the grinding tool matches the work-piece properly.
3、As for the glass that has been repaired continuously, especially the polished glass, the
grinding ability can be lowered down due to the passivation of the working surface of
the diamond pellets.
4、Check if the supply of machine air pressure is normal.
Usage
Under normal condition, JM-2005 can be thinned 20-40 times for the processing 0f flat surface of hard crown glass with big diameter. And it can be thinned 50 –80 times for the processing of lens with small diameter that is made from soft flint glass.
Safety
JM-2005 fine grinding coolant is made of daily use chemical material and food chemical materials. It is not poisonous and harmless to the environment. It can be used safely.
Precaution
1、Optical coolant can not be used with other coolants. Otherwise, some properties might
be changed. For example, it can cause the deposition of glass powder, corrosion, smell
and bubble.
2、It is suggested that the storage period of the coolant will not be longer than 6 months. |
